Show FUNERAL SERVICES FOR C. E. HAMPSHIRE HI MLPLFASAHT Funeral services were held Wednesday Wed-nesday at the North Ward Chapel for C. E. Hampshire, age 51 years, who died of heart failure at Paul, Idaho on Friday, May 7th. His body was brought here for burial. Bishop H. C. Jacobs conducted the services. The opening prayer was offered by Elder Arthur O. Neilson. The choir was present and sang " Jesus Lover of My Soul ana kock oi Ages, ine speakers were President C. N. Lund, President A. Merz and Bishop H. C. Jacobs. A duet was rendered by Miss Lida Staker and Miss Melba Aldrich. Elder William Olson closed clos-ed the services by prayer. The grave was dedicated by Bishop Henry C. Jacobs. There was a large number of flowers given by friends of the de- , parted. Those who came here to attend the funeral were George Miller of Price, Mr. Rogers and wife of Provo, Mrs. Harry Sadler of Salt Lake City, Mrs. Violate Bradley of Provo, D. R. Jensen of Paul, Idaho, his father Charles Hampshire of Salt Lake City, Frank, Victor and Willie Hampshire, all of Salt Lake City, and sixteen members of the Elk Lodge from Provo. Besides a widow he is survived by seven children, Mrs. Eva Rogers of Provo, Mrs. John W. Clark of Provo, Nellie, Allen, Earl, Willia'm and Beth. His Mother, Mrs. Elizabeth Eliza-beth Hampshire is living at Mount Pleasant. Mr. Hampshire has many frienijs In this city. He was a former resident resi-dent here and engaged in the barber business most of his life. He lived at Provo for twelve years and at Paul, Idaho for the past three. He was a man who had many friends wherever he lived. |
