Show Obituary. Mrs. Mary F. Spillane died on Monday, Mon-day, Feb. S, at her home, 996 South Pearl street. The funeral was held on Wednesday w ith high requiem mass at St. Francis de Sales church. Rev. J. J. Donnelly officiating. He also preached the funeral sermon. Interment was in Mount Calvary cemetery beside the grave of her husband, who passed away nearly twenty years ago. Mrs. Spillane is well remembered in the cathedral ca-thedral parish, where she and her husband hus-band were among the first residents. She Is survived by six children, all grown. They are Mrs. Julia Dobbins, Mrs. Mary Jaap, Jeremiah L. Spillane, John H. Spillane, Edward D. Spillane and Frank J. Spillane. all residing in Denver. John H. Tracy, who died at his home, 3420 Larimer street, at the advanced age of 70 years, was buried Wednesday afternoon, Feb. 10, from Annunciation church, where Rev. Christopher Walsh read the service, and gave the final absolution. ab-solution. Burial was in Fairmount. Miss Katherine Burns, the aged woman wo-man whose death resulted from burns received while setting fire to weeds in her yard at Berkley, was buried Wednesday Wed-nesday from Holy Family church, where requiem mass was read for the repose of her soul. Burial was in Mount Olivet cemetery. Miss Burns is survived by no near relatives. Mrs. John F. Joyce departed this life on Saturday, Feb. 13, at her home, 36 West Nevada place. Her funeral occurred oc-curred on Tuesday from St. Francis de Sales church, where the pastor, Rev. J: J. Donnelly read requiem mass. The church was filled with sorrowing friends and representatives of religious societies socie-ties of which Mrs. .Trtvce was a mem ber. Burial was in Mount Olivet cemetery. ceme-tery. I Many friends were shocked early this week to learn of the death of Miss Anna An-na Tuliy, one of the popular nurses at St. Joseph's hospital. Miss Tully was the daughter of Peter Tully of this city, and was but 21 years of age. On Tuesday, Feb. 16, the chapel of St. Joseph's Jo-seph's hospital was filled to capacity by the sorrowing relatives and friends, and those who had known and loved the young girl in the performance of her duty . High mass was sung at 9 o'clock, and the body lay In state in the little chapel until afternoon, when It was taken to its last resting place in Mount Olivet cemetery". The body of Mrs. Chris Heln, who died on Sunday, Feb. 14, at her home in Qulmby, Colo., was brought to Denver Den-ver for burial, accompanied by her bereaved be-reaved husband. Funeral service was conducted Wednesday morning from Sacred Heart church. Interment was in Mount Olivet cemetery. 5k Eleanor Mary Nellie Coleman, sister of J. H. Coleman, 2823 Decatur street, died at her brother's home on Friday, Feb. 12. Miss Coleman was a native of Thurles, Ireland. Her funeral took place Sunday afternoon from St. Dominic's Dom-inic's church. Burial was in Mount Olivet Oli-vet cemetery. William F. Bermingham. who died on Sunday, Feb. 14. at the home of his sister, sis-ter, Mrs. Katherine Clifford, 1223 Jason street, was buried on Tuesday with requiem mass at St. Joseph's church. Interment was in Mount Calvary cemetery. |
