Tho old man was brought up for examination at 4 p.m. yesterday, and again at 6 p.m., but was each timo remanded, tho deputy marshal, who saw the firing, not being present to testify. The case comes up at 10 o'clock this morning. We have some very decided and well-defined views about tho entire transaction, but again withhold them for the present, having no desire to prejudice the case on either side. |
