Show o Everything In Readiness For First Ward Play According to reports, everything is in readiness for the First ward play "Surefire" tonight in the1 First ward chapel. A matinee is being staged today at 3 p. m. for the kiddies. The cast, which have been rehearsing rehears-ing steadily for the past two weeks, are all primed to interpret their roles, and from all information, the play is going to be "surefire." The scenes are laid, first, in a theatrical business manager's office, a post office exterior and a post office interior. The prologue deals with the busy going city people, while the rest of the plot centers around the small town of Clayville, where the humor runs high with provincial witticisms. Ray "Bun" Shelley and Jesse Kirk-ham Kirk-ham have the comedy roles and they'll simply make your sides split from laughing. Clarence Grant and Miss LaRae Buckwalter handle the leading parts to perfection. But enough is, enough, come out tonight and see what happens! The rlay is also being presented asrain the following Monday evening, March 11. n |
