Mr. Hacking was named in place , of Representative Bennion, Ben-nion, who was rejected by the enate on the grounds that a legislator was t eligible for any of the reorganized commissions. The appointment of Mr. Bennion to the tax commission will not encounter the same difficulty, inasmuch in-asmuch as the tax commission is a constitutional body and was not reorganized by this legislature. The senate, in fact, invited the appointment ap-pointment of Mr. Bennion to the tax commission by making the statement that the committee would recommend his confirmation for any of the commissions which were not reorganized. In a very brief executive session the senate confirmed the governor's gover-nor's three appointees to the public pub-lic welfare commission David R. Trevithick (D), Ogden, six-year term; J.
