Show Swell Euchre. About fifty guests lesponded to the imitations of Mis. O. W. Thatcher to spend jesterday afternoon at "Pro-grcsslc "Pro-grcsslc Euchre", and a most pleasant pleas-ant time was the portion of all. The affair was elaborate in tho way of decotatlons, which consisted of tho national colors in Hags and bunting, hung artistically In the dllTcient looms and on thepictty lawn. In the parlors bunting was draped fiom the center of the celling and festooned to the corners of the room, while over ov-er the cranda and on the lawn were suspended flags of extraordinary proportions and beauty. Ever) thing was as dainty and charming as could be, ccn the tally cards being hand-painted hand-painted red, white and blue emblems. The first prize was a beautiful silk Hag and the booby prize consisted of a bunch of fire crackers tied with tho national colois. The second was a handsome handpalntcd china plate.
