Show LOGAN LODGE ' NO. 43 L O. O. F. Growing Rapidly in Point of Membership and Favor. Organized April 15 with 20 Members now has 50. The exceptional growth of Logan Lodge No. 43, 1. O. O. F., Is rapidly bringing that order to the fiontas one of the organisations to be reckoned with In a social way. Oiganbed on Apill 17th, with a membership of twenty, It has rapidly cllmocd In numbers num-bers until It now has enrolled a membership mem-bership of not less than fifty, and among these arc some of tho most prominent and influential business men of the city and county. Tho lodgo has been fortunate in having hustlers at the helm, who have been most active In their search for prospective Odd Fellows, and the work as given has been of sulllclcnt st rength and beauty as to make each new member a hearty supporter and cneigetlc woiker. At each Filday evening meeting since Its organization thciohas been llrst dcgiec woik on hand, and at no time has there been less than a class of eight candidates up for instruction Into the mysteiies to be revealed by the goat. On June 10th, eight new membeis were received re-ceived and tluec members from other lodges were admitted. It was felt that this would be the last class of any size, but on last Friday the 20th, twelve men picsentcd themselves foi admission. Nine of these were accepted, ac-cepted, two laid over for a week or more on the advice of the lodge's physclan and the other was blackballed. black-balled. Those taken In and given llrst degiee work were Prof. James Jensen, Attorney Frank Nebeker, Joseph Odell, J. W. Mltchner, Hyrum Hayball, John II. Darker, Wm. Mc-Culloch, Mc-Culloch, Hyrum Thatcher, and Wm. Watson. Last night, olllcers elected some two weeks ago were installed as follows: J. E. McGraw, Noblo Grand; Dr. J. A. McCausland," Vice Grand; F. W. Drock, Secretary; John A. Montrose , Treasurer. The ladles, wives and sisters of the Odd Fellows are now becoming very anxious for a Rebekah organisation and It Is confidently expected that their demands will bo acceded to ere long especially If they continue to offer such bribes as they did on the 10th of Juno when they visited the lodgo loom enforce, carrying with them a genciois supply of delectable dainties. Tho lodgo Is now located in the third story of, tho Muulock building on Main sticet, but tho trustees arc on tho lookout for new quartets, and their prosperfty and lapld growth has led them to want something swell.
