Show FORT COLLINS. i Columbian Club. Tha Columbian club met during the past week, with a full attendance.' Miss Otis presented a most excellent paper on the "Augustan Age of Literature." She faithfully portrayed the works of Pascal, Fenelon and other noted writers writ-ers of this period. Mrs. McHugh conducted con-ducted the discussion on the "Early Masters," speaking of the monuments and endowments-of this time, some of which are still - extant, and were of enormous expense. Mrs. Otis gave a sketch of the life works of La Notte, father of landscape gardening in France. Miss Otis spoke of Le Brun. Mrs. . Emigh described the work ' which Poussin did in landscape painting."
