Show THE OMAHA INTER-STATES INTER-STATES LAND SHOW o The land resources of tho Mld-'dlo Mld-'dlo West are to bo exploited at a great Exposition Tho Omaha Inter-States Land Show In tho Municipal Auditorium, Omaha, Nebraska, from Wednesday, February 12th to Saturday, February Feb-ruary 22nd, 1919. Tho organization organ-ization directing this movement consists of an Executive Committee Com-mittee of Land Development Ex-pert, Ex-pert, nnd co-opemtlon of 'too Governors of tho eleven Btates, viz., Nebraska, Iowa, MIssoure, Oklahoma, Kansas, Utah, Colorado, Colo-rado, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming Wyom-ing and South Dakota, together with tho Secretaries of Agriculture Agricul-ture of those states. A number of prominent leaders in irrigation, irriga-tion, conservation and reclamation reclama-tion of lands and resources of tho United States havo been Invited. In-vited. These gentlemen will bo members of an Honorary Board to same In this organization. Tho active work of tho Exposition Expo-sition Is to be directed by an Honorary Executive Commlttco consisting of Agricultural Supervisors Su-pervisors and Colonization Ag-'ents Ag-'ents of tho various Railways now under Government management manage-ment and prominent Agricultural Agricul-tural University Officials, together toge-ther with Omaha patriotic bus-ness bus-ness and-real estate men. Tho purposes of tho Show being be-ing broad and patriotic, Uiq-Uates Uiq-Uates set, February 12 (Lincoln's birthday), to February 22nd, (Washington's birthday), the decorations will be of a patriotic nature. The exlblts will come from various Mid-West States nnd will consist of grains, grasses, foliage, cereals, woods, fruits, vegetables In fact, the ipuoducts of I tho soil, together with tho. exhibitions of results 'and tho demonstrations of tho latest in improved agriculture and horticulture along soil educational edu-cational lines. ' Lectures and talks of an Interesting In-teresting nature, practical food demonstrations, exhibits of farm motor power and of irrigation will form a leading feature of the Exposition. Several Important Import-ant conventions of agricultural Interest will be held in Omaha at that time. Many Omaha organizations or-ganizations are in hearty accord ac-cord with this movement and are co-operating towards the success of tho Omaha Inter-States Inter-States Land Exposition. Omaha is splendidly adapted for such an Exposition. It is tho logical point for Government co-operation and the furtherance further-ance of Mld-Wost farm development develop-ment activities. Omaha Is tho central hub of tho Mid-West, which is tho "Bread Basket" of the world. With peace at hand and vie- tory resting with the great United Un-ited States and Allied Powers, tho necessity of feeding tho World rests upon America, and practically the United States Government. Anything enlisting tho support sup-port of our returned defenders and victors In this great War, must and will receive tho heartiest heart-iest commendation from itho public, and no better time than the commencement, 1919, for the World's reldnstruction could bo conceived for this grout land development enterprise.
