They visited at Mr. and Mrs. Murry Defas, Mr. and Mrs. Tom Roberts, Mr. and Mrs. Alva Defa, Mr. and Mrs. Dave Col-vin, Col-vin, Mr. and Mrs. Lane Josie, and Mr. and Mrs. Basil Defa. Mr. and Mrs. Arvel Rhoades and Joseph Rhoades were visiting visit-ing Friday in Provo at Mr. and Mrs. Duane Rhoades and at Mr. and Mrs. George Clements and family. Mrs. DeEtta Casper, chairman chair-man of the March of Dimes Campaign announces that $51. 11 was attributed. Other women who helped Mrs. Casper Cas-per were, Mrs. Enid Wagstaff, Mrs. Flora Jones, Mrs. Velda Young, and Mrs. Vivian Curry. The mothers wish to thank the community for their support in this good cause. Tabiona Nutrition Class was compiled Thursday under the leadership of County Home Agent Mrs. Mary C. Boender, who taught the class. Each lady brought her favorite dish and all enjoyed a potluck dinner. Those who took the class were, Mrs. Enid Wagstaff, Mrs. Mary Ann Defa, Mrs. Eliiia Clark, Mrs. Carol Jones, Mrs. DeAnn Delange, Mrs. Afton Giles, Mrs. Marilyn Eversole, Mrs. Dixie Smith, Mrs. Shelia Defa, Mrs. Flora Fabrizio, Mrs. Nadine Roberts, Mrs. DonEtta Erickson and Mrs. Cleo Hackford. Deon Rhoades and Florence Turnbow were in charge of the nursery. The money will be used to clean the draperies at the Ward Chape L Mrs. Lido Jones returned home after her operation Wednesday. They visited visit-ed at Mr. and Mrs. Marve Michies, Joseph Rhoades, and at Mr. and Mrs. Claude Wagstaffs. A family gathering was held Saturday at Mr. and Mrs. Allen Giles in Salt Lake City. Relatives who attended were Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Giles, Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Giles, Martha Giles, Mr. and Mrs. Max Roberts, and Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Webb. Mr. and Mrs. Jack Young were visiting last Saturday in Salt Lake City with their families. fami-lies. They brought two of their grandsons back for a few days visit. A special priesthood meeting was held Sunday morning for Aaronic Priesthood boys and their parents. Speakers were Keith Hooper, Martin Brother-son Brother-son and Philip Moon, under the direction of Orvan Moon. This meeting was to encourage the boys to get individual awards. Lavaughn Gines and Craig Thomas were ordained to a teacher at the meeting. At Sacrament meeting, speakers were Roslin Fabrizio who talked on "Idleness", Donna Rhoades told of the "Masters Visit". Sherri Lynn Williams told things that would happen at the second coming of the Savior. Ira Eversole talked on the individual awards that a person could earn. He said the award itself was only second. A testimony of the gospel should be first in their minds. Jody and Lori Williams sang "Teach Me To Walk in the Light", accompanied by Carlene Williams. The Mutual Marrieds honored honor-ed the mens basketball team Saturday evening at the Tabiona Tab-iona Ward House. A very tasty chicken supper was served to Mr. and Mrs. Kent Ellertson Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Erickson, Mr. and Mrs. Ira Eversole, Mr. and Mrs. Tom Fabrizio, Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Lee, Mr. and Mrs. Nolen Giles, Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Fabrizio, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Curry, Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Gile, Gary DeLange, Mrs. David Roberts and Boyd Turnbow. Turn-bow. After the supper the evening was spent in playing games and dancing. The Ward Budget play "Aaron Slick From Punkin Creek", a three act comedy, was a huge success when they netted $138. 00 for the Tabiona Ward. Leslie Giles played the part of Aaron Slick. Others in the cast were Jean Fabrizio, DeAnn DeLane, Evelyn Webb, Afton Giles, Ralph Erickson, and Pete Roberts. Mutual officers were Ralph Giles, Art Fabrizio, Darreld Casper, Don Etta Erickson, Nadine Roberts and Elaine EUertson. Tex Gines, Owen Van Tassell and Roslin Fabrizio played their guitars and sang during the acts. The Primary sold popcorn. pop-corn. Mrs. Nina Gines and Mrs. Vivian Curry were the directors. The cast went to Altamont Monday evening to present the play there. Mr. and Mrs. Kally Teida-man Teida-man of Hunter had a baby girl born Thursday. Mrs. Teida-man Teida-man is the former Geraldine Pace. |
