Show Mr. Arnold Robbins was admitted ad-mitted to the Roosevelt hospital Wednesday suffering from a broken rib and severe abrasions, when he was hit by a falling pipe. He was released to his home on Tuesday, and his wife, Connie, reports that he is doing as well as can be expected. We wish him a speedy and complete com-plete recovery from his unfortunate unfor-tunate accident. Another misfortune occurred Wednesday when'Bert Young's horse fell with him while he was crossing some ice. The accident took place on the East Oray Desert. He mounted his horse and rode about four miles, where Darrell McConkie brought him on into the Roosevelt Roose-velt hospital. He was reported to have a broken leg. He returned re-turned home Friday and is resting rest-ing comfortably. We wish him also a rapid and complete recovery. re-covery. Kenny Mack escaped serious injury the 16th when a pipe fell, hitting his hard hat and making a gash on his forehead. The pipe swung back and hit him in the mouth, breaking off two teeth. Fortunately the injuries were not serious enough to restrain re-strain him from returning to work. Mr. Ronald Robbins suffered severe cuts on his hand while putting fluid in his car. It resulted from accidentally putting put-ting his hand in the fan belt. He was taken to the Roosevelt hospital where he received 35 stitches in two fingers. He is doing well now and had the .Stitches removed last Friday. Bonnie Fay, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Delmore Ivie, is doing well in the Primary Childrens Hospital where she is recuperating recuper-ating from chicken pox. She is soon to be released. Mr, and Mrs. Tatton Bench motored to Salt Lake City, , where they visited with their son and family, Mr. and Mrs. Calvin Bench. Their grandson, Calvin Bench Jr. , has been ordered to report to Oakland, California, on March 3rd, en-route en-route to Vietnam. Don Mayhew went to Craig, Colorado, on Monday night of last week with Mr. and Mrs. Keith Rust to help them move their belongings from Craig to Salt Lake. He arrived home on Wednesday-evening. Mrs. Rust and Mrs. Mayhew are sisters. Mrs. Dorothy Price spent the weekend of February 19th with her husband Larry in Colorado Springs. Larry is in the Armed Services and stationed station-ed at Ft. Carson. She returned home on Wednesday morning. |
