Brondel at the Cathedral of S the Sacred Heart to a class of 104. the j largest number confirmed at one time j in the history of the Helena church. Bishop Brondel delivered an appro- priate address, taking as his subject: "Send forth thy spirit, and they shall f be created and thou shalt renew the i face of the earth." ' At S o'c'ock Mass at the cathedral I Sunday morning S3 children 53 girls and 3S boys took their first com- j raunion. which was administered by . Kev. Father C. M. Aken. The erirls j were dressed in white and wore white slippers and veils and wreaths of 1 flowers upon their heads. There was j special music by the St. Vincent Acad- i emy choir. Among the class were six- teen students from the academy. All j who took communion in the morninc were confirmed in the afternoon, as 1 well as fifteen adults who had previous- ly taken communion. There was a " 1 large attendance at both services. |
