Show Funeral of Patrick O'Heara. The funeral of the late Patrick O'Meara took place last Monday.' Solemn Sol-emn High Mass was celebrated at 9 o'clock by Rev. Father Curran. The Gregorian requiem service was sung by the cathedral choir. Rev. Father Curran Cur-ran delivered the funeral sermon and paid a beautiful and well merited tribute trib-ute to the life and character of the saintly, faithful Catholic. The funeral was conducted under the auspices of the Knights of Columbus, of which W. P. O'Meara. son of the deceased, is a member. There were offerings of-ferings of flowers from the Denver council of Knights of Columbus, presented pre-sented by Grand Knight George O. Dorstal, from Mrs. Quillen and family, Mrs." O. J. Salisbury." Mrs. Luce and family, Chris Pennartz. Mr. and Mrs. J. L. Wilson. J. H. Bacon, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Crane, Dr. and Mrs. Keogh, Mr. and Mrs. J. D. Adams. Mr. and Mrs. P. J. McCornick, and daughter of Los Angeles, Judge and Mrs. M. Li Ritchie, Mr. and Mrs. J. M. Moore, Mr: and Mrs. F. L. Voorhees. J. C. Lynch, Dr. and Mrs. M. A. Hughes, and an emblem from John Hernan of Los Angeles An-geles in the form of a sheaf of wheat. There was a very large attendance of friends, and the ceremonies at the grave were conducted by Rev. Father Curran. The pallbearers were Dr. Keogh, Dr. Hughes, T. Marnane, Ed McGurrin, C. Torter and J. H. Kirk. |
