Show have been staying here for a few days during the hunt, to care for their brother and sister sis-ter while Mr. and Mrs. Thur-man Thur-man Eyre are hunting. THIS WEEK IN MINERSYIHE By Mrvbelle Eyre Jack and Calvin Carter were here for a few days enjoying the deer hunt with their fath er, G. V. Carter, and other relatives. Visiting Mrs. Augusta Marshall Mar-shall during the week were her daughters, Mrs. Carla Mcintosh Mcin-tosh of Salt Lake and Mrs. Jenicc Rarnson of Junction. Mr. and Mrs. Clinton) Thompson and several of their children were here visiting for a few days during the deer hunt. Mr. and Mrs. Odell Thompson Thomp-son have, been here visiting at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Thompson. their expected baby. The Bookmobile visited Minersville on Tuesday, with good response from the residents. resi-dents. It is hoped that we will soon be able to receive this service regularly. j Mrs. Anna Rac Carter returned re-turned to Salt Lake with Don I Heslington Sunday, to visit for a few days and receive medical attention. Miss Barbara Fails returned to her Naval Station in Corpus Christi, Texas, Tuesday, after aft-er a week's leave spent heie with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Dalton Fails. Earl Gillins, son of Mr. and Mrs. Hilton Gillins, arrived home Monday on leave from the Navy. Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Eyre Will'den Carter was here visiting his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Horace Carter. Mr. and Mrs. Max Dalton were at the home of his parents, par-ents, Mr. and Mrs. Howard Marshall, for a few davs. Also visiting at the Marshall home was Mrs. Jane Blackner of Cedar City. LaNac Dalton, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. . Howard Marshall, Mar-shall, was confined to the Iron County Hospital for a few days following a calcium heart block. Lylc Dalton and friends from California have been visiting at the Bill Dalton home during the deer hunt. Mr. and Mrs. Bill Gibson of California joined members of the Eyre family for the deer ! hunt. Col. Lenheart, Cel. Brown and Major Pugh, all of Edwards Ed-wards Air Force Base, were here during deer season, hunting hunt-ing with Mr. and Mrs. Newell Carter. Ray Ellerington of California Califor-nia was hunting with Mr. and Mrs. Garold Eyre, Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Eyre, Mr. and Mrs. Dale Eyre, and Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Gillins. Mrs. Beulah Wood recently flew to Maine where she will j stay with her daughter Jolene for a few weeks. Jolen's hus-1 band is away from home on a ' flight mission and Mrs. Wood will remain until the birth of |
