Show School Vote Gives Moss Margin In Senate Race The regular "school straw vote" was conducted this week in Milford and Beaver High Schools, and if consideration is given to such factors as sentiment, acquaintance thru church affiliation, "geography," "geogra-phy," etc., a close analyst can come up with a pretty good idea of how the mothers and fathers are thinking. I In the school vote two years ago Karl Truman of Minres-ville Minres-ville ran well ahead of Jack Mahoney of Milford in the race for state representative, yet Mahoney was elected by substantial margin when- the fathers and mothers marked the official ballots. The students stu-dents were acquainted with Mr. Truman thru his school and church work, and gave him their vote, but their parents par-ents favored Mahoney. J. Bracken Lee trailed both Moss and Watkins in the school vote, yet a Salt Lake Tribune poll conducted recently recent-ly showed Mr. Lee to still have his usual strength in Beaver Comity.
