Show HAROLD PETERSON, NAMED DAIRY ASS'N. MANAGER FOR UTAH, EXPECTED TO PROMOTE INDUSTRY WITH NEW ACTIVITY Beaver County activities of the American Dairy Association Associa-tion will be expanded as a result of the appointment recently of a full-time manager of the ADA of Utah, Welby W. Young president, said Wednesday. Harold L. Peterson, Salt Lake City dairy executive, succeeds suc-ceeds A. J. Morris. Logan, who is retiring after serving in tht position for 14 years. Mr. Morris is head of the Department Dairy Industry. L'tah State University. He will continue on the ADA's board of directors direct-ors as Utah State University's representative. Chairman of ADA of Utah activities in Beaver Countv is M. J. Warr of Beaver. "Professor Morris has been a pioneering stalwart in the establishment of the ADA program pro-gram in Utah," Mr. Young said. Utah's dairy industry is recognized thruout the nation as a leader in the program of trimming dairy surpluses thru a cooperative program of intelligent, in-telligent, aggressive advertis- ing and public relations. Much of the credit for this reputation reputa-tion goes to Prof. Morris." "We are fortunate in obtaining obtain-ing the services of an able dairy executive with a seasoned sea-soned merchandising background back-ground in Mr. Peterson," Mr. Young said. "The dairy industry in-dustry will now move forward, with his full-time services, in a greatly expanded program. The ADA program, both nationally na-tionally and locally, will continue con-tinue to be closely correlated with the activities of the Dairy Council, an educational organization." |
