Show Mother Dies At Home of Son Mrs Jeanette Brown Sanford died Saturday morning at thirty eight-thirty at atthe atthe atthe the home of her son Ralph B B. B Sanford In Ogden at the advanced age of ot sev sev- enty Mrs Sanford had been visiting there during the winter months and in Logan Logan Logan Lo Lo- Lo- Lo gan with her daughter Miss Susie Sanford and had intended to return to her home In Delta last las week She had been in poor health for Cor some time and was unable to make the trip Mrs Sanford was born July 20 1865 at Payson a daughter of ot Richard and and Helen Brown who had cometo come cometo I Ito to Utah from Scotland as converts of oC the L. L D D. D S SI Church Her was spent at Koosharem She was married married married mar mar- ried to Hyrum Eugene Sanford in Springville on March 7 1888 Mr and Mrs Sanford later moved to Hanksville Hanksville Hanks- Hanks ville yule and were pioneers in the lower part of oC Wayne Vayne County and were among among among a- a mong the early settlers of Delta movIng movIng moving I ing here in 1911 They made their home at Sutherland and farmed there Mr Sanford died several years ago Mrs Sanford was the mother of eight children six of whom survive her namely four sons Ralph B. B Sanford Sanford San San- ford Cord of Ogden Dewey and Elbert Sanford of ot Delta and Brown Sanford of oC Los Angeles and two daughters Miss Susie Sanford of Logan and Mrs Cora Turner of ot Delta There arc are 19 grandchildren and 3 great dren Also two brothers William Villiam Brown of oC Koosharem and Richard Brown of oC Annabella Mrs Sanford was a first counselor of ot the Relief Society of Sutherland I Iward ward and had been active in church work during her many years was held 1 ld in deep esteem by all who knew her and her integrity of character character charac charac- ter and charm of personality were appreciated appreciated appreciated ap ap- by her many friends Funeral services were held in the Sutherland ward at twelve noon on Monday with Bishop Cutler Culler Henrie in I charge The opening song was given by the Sutherland Relief Society Sister Sister Sis t ter Thou Wert Always J Mild and Love Love- Love Love- ly Prayer by byE E.
