Show ALPINE HEWS Mrs. L. Bates, Reporter. A dancing party under the direction direc-tion of the Elders quorum was successfully suc-cessfully put over Thursday evening of last week. Those present report an enjoyable time. Refreshments were served. Bishop Hugh Reed of Lund, Nevada, Neva-da, spent the past week visiting with his sister, Mrs. Clarence Burgess. The M Men gave an Easter dance Saturday evening, which was well attended. Easter baskets were auctioned auc-tioned and Easter eggs and punch served. Another jolly Easter party of the week was given at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Ixjy Beck Monday evening by the Young Mothers Club. Games were enjoyed, after which weenies were roasted around a large bonfire outside. Those present report an enjoyable en-joyable time. Mrs. Proctor of American Fork, spent the past week with her daughter, daught-er, Mrs. Ernest McDaniel. Mr. and Mrs. George Dunsdon and children of Provo, were Sunday guests of Mrs. Dunsdon's parents, Mx. and Mrs. J. T. Bateman. Guests at the Bateman home Tuesday evening were Mr. and Mrs. William Bateman and children of Salt Lake. Dewey Bennett has purchased the Authur McDaniel home and will move there in the near future. Mr. and Mrs. F. O. McDaniel and children returned home Saturday, after spending the winter at Ogden. Miss Margarette Lindgreen of Salt Lake, is spending the week with her grandmother and other relatives. M'r. and Mrs. Alfown Smith and children, Mrs. Thomas B. Smith, and Miss Sarah Smith of Salt Lake, were Sunday guests of Mr. and Mrs. Benjamin Benja-min Bates during the week. |
