She visited with her- grandmother, Mrs. Nettie Phillips, her uncles and other relatives. Mrs. Phillips Phil-lips has spent the winter there, caring for the mother who is ill. Mrs. Grant Ash and baby who are spending the summer in Provo, spent the weekend at the Cecil Ash home here. Friends of Elmo Russon will be glad to know that he is able to move about on crutches. He suffered a broken ankle several weeks ago. To honor Mrs. Lela Evans and Mrs. Duane (Elva) Evans, whose birthdays accur on the same day, family members gathered for dinner at the Duane Evans home Sunday, June 5. Others present included Mr. and Mrs. Don Evans, Mr. and Mrs. Paul Shelley (La-Rae) (La-Rae) and Merle Evans. Miss Rhea Christofferson is visiting in Myton, Utah, with Mrs. Rex Christofferson. A recent surprise for Mrs. Andrew An-drew Christofferson, was the visit of a group of 25 lady friends of the Fourth ward, who called on her birthday. They brought Miss Petra Clover returned Sunday evening after a happy vacation in Idaho. She was the guest of Miss Lenna Scott at her home in Stone, just over the line from Snowville. Fishing, horseback horse-back riding, and summer dancing danc-ing were the pastimes there. Jay Higginson, home from the A. C. in Logan last week, will go to Marchfield, Calif., in three weeks, for six weeks training in the Army Reserve. He will return re-turn in time to enter school for the fall quarter. Guests at the F. A. Hunger home last week were Mr. and Mrs. Carl Butler of Logan, friends of Miss Glenda Hunger.
