The exhibit will be shown on June 9th, 10th, 11th and 12th. This exhibit, sponsored by the Intermountain Electrical Association Asso-ciation and Utah Power & Light Co., was very popular last year, and is expected to attract wide interest again this year, with several changes in lay-out. Electrical dealers in the local area will furnish all electrical merchandise shown in the tent, and promise an impressive array of up-to-the-minute appliances and equipment. In addition to the displays of farm electrical equipment, there will again be shown an electric kitchen and laundry. The admission is free, and the sponsors extend a cordial invita tion to an those in attendance at the celebration to visit the tent show. Central Utah Motor company was honored last week when K. The first day will be devoted to judging the entries, and the auction auc-tion sales will take place the second sec-ond and final day. Fat cattle and fat lambs will be judged by Alex McDonald, of Davis, Calif., and another prominent judge will be enlisted to find best entries en-tries in the fat hog department. Selection of best exhibits will be according to the market grad ing system of placing entries as to prime, choice and good. Awards will run from $150 for a choice carload of steers to a maximum of $10 for the best h dividual steer or heifer exhibits. Fork Resident Leaves For Reserve Training Old Folks to Hold Summer Outing Lt. Col. Charles O. Butterfield, Transportation Corps, whose home is at American Fork, Utah, reported recently for 90 days Reserve Training at the San Francisco Port of Embarkation. He was assigned to Water Divi sion. Colonel Butterfield is the husband hus-band of Mrs. Trenna B. Butterfield, Butter-field, 576 King St., American Fork and the son of Mrs. A. T. Butterfield, Riverton, Utah. Entering the Officers Reserve in 1930, he was called to active duty with the Third Military Area at Salt Lake City in 1941. He served at Camp Roberts and for three years as a Transport Commander at San Francisco Port of Embarkation during the war. He returned to the inactive inac-tive list in September 1946. The regular Livestock Show in November will be continued. Junior department activities then, however, will be restricted to exhibits of breeding stock, although al-though they will be encouraged to participate in open class fat carload contests as open class exhibitors. Annual tri-stake Old Folks outing will be held next Wednes day, June 16, in Robinson park here. The Old Folks committees of the three stakes, Alpine, Lehi and Timpanogos, are cooperating to make the event one of the best summer parties ever given the aged and other honor guests of the day. W. O. Nelson, Alpine stake chairman, is general chairman of the affair, and Mrs. Nelson, stake lady chairman, is right alongside her husband in shaping shap-ing plans for the day. Full cooperation coop-eration is being given by the Old Folks committees of the wards of this stake and the Lehi and Timpanogos stakes of which Paul Adamson, Pleasant Grove, and Wanford Barnes of Lehi, are the heads. All over 60 years of age, widows, widowers, members of bishoprics, and wives of missionaries are to be guests of honor. Eleven a. m. is the hour set for- assembling and social conversation con-versation will occupy the time until 12:30 p. m. when lunch will be served. An afternoon program pro-gram which will include four numbers from each of the stakes will round out the program of entertainment.
