Show County Attorney Grover A. Giles Will Seek Re-election to Post 7 t , l ''v. - , $V . . Si Incumbent Salt Lake County Attorney Grover A. Giles this week announced he would seek renomination and re-election on the Democratic ticket. Mr. Giles, first elected to the county post four years ago, has served two terms as Utah attorney attor-ney general. He also served eight years as assistant attorney general gen-eral and as county attorney of Millard County. He was elected to the Millard County position while still a student stu-dent at the University of Utah College of Law. Mr. Giles is active in a number of community activities. He and his wife reside at 2480 Kentucky Ave. Mr. Giles said in his announce-ment: announce-ment: "If I am renominated I shall campaign on my record as county attorney and as a public servant generally. I am proud of my staff and the record of the office during the past four years. "Functions of the office have increased greatly both because of the population growth and because we have intentionally extended the responsibilities of the office in representing the public both in civil and criminal matters. "Two specific examples of this which have brought thousands of dollars into the treasury are the collection of heretofore un- GROVER A.
