Show Betrothal Of Miss Parish Made Known The engagement of Miss Margaret Mar-garet Parish to Wesley F. Merrill Mer-rill was announced at a beautifully beauti-fully appointed luncheon at the Hotel Utar, given by Mrs. Frank V. Parish, moher of the bride-elect, Tuesday. The centerpiece was of roses and lilies of the valley. Bridge followed luncheon. Miss Parish is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank V. Parish, 1427 Ramona Ave., and Mr. Merrill is the son of Mr. and Mrs. A. L. Merrill of Pocatello, Ida. The marriage will take place June 9 in the L. D. S. mis'sion hou.se, Cambridge, Mass., and Mr. and Mrs. Parish will accompany their daughter east. A graduate of Westminster college, col-lege, Miss Parish also attended the University of Utah where she was affiliated with Kappa Kappa Gamma. Mr. Merrill is an alumnus of the Llniversity of Idaho and the U. of U, and was a member of the University of Idaho and the U. of U, nad was a member of Alpha Theta Kappa fraternity. He entered Harvard school of law prior to his four years of service with the army, three of which were spent overseas. He was released from the army with the rank of major. They will honeymoon at Lake Placid, N. Y., and in New York City and will make their home in Boston. |
