To whom it may concern: Notice is hereby piveu that the Slate of Utah has tiled in this ofitco a list, No. 24, of lauds selected by the said State tor the establishment establish-ment a"d maintenance of a Reform School, under Sec. l- of the Act of Congress approved July 1(1, 189-1. The followinpr tracts, embraced in said list, are in a township contamin"-mineral contamin"-mineral claims of record : r The lot number six ((,), of Section seven (?) in Township forty-one (11), sooth, and Hau.e thirteen (13), west, Salt Lake Uase and Meridian. Meri-dian. A copy of said list, so far as it relates to said tracts, by descriptive subdivisions, has been conspicuously posted in this office, for inspection inspec-tion by any persou interested, and by the public pub-lic crencrally. Duriiifr the sixty days next following the date of this notice, under departmental instructions of Nov. 27, 1896 (23 L. D., -mi), protests or contests con-tests against the claim of the State to -any of the tracts or subdivisions hereinabove ' described, de-scribed, on the "round that the same is more valuable for mineral than for a"ricultural purposes, ivill be received and nol.-d for report to the General Land Office at WrshiiTtn, D. C. Failure so to protest or contest villi in ' the period specified will be considered sufficient evidence of the non-mineral eharaclcr of said tracts, and the selection thereof, beinn- otherwise other-wise free from objection, will be recommended for approval.
