The proposed special im- ; provement district is located j within the corporate limits of ! Springville, Utah, and its boun-j boun-j daries encompass the following i lots, pieces and parcels of pro-!! pro-!! perty: !i The North 165 feet of Blocks 33, 34, 35, 36, 37, 54, 61, and j 62, the West 165 feet of I Blocks 3. 12. 14. 45. 52. 61 ji and 63; the East 165 feet of I Blocks 11, 13, 44, 53, 60 and ji 62; and the South 165 feet II of Block 59; all in Plat A, ij Springville Survey of Build-!i Build-!i ing Lots; also, both the East ij side and the West side of j; Main Street to a depth back j from the street lines of 165 i'i feet between 4th North II Street and 500 North; the h North side of 7th South j Street to a depth back from 'il the street line of 165 feet jj between Main Street and 1st East Street; the West side j! of 1st East Street to a depth j back from the street line of Lot 4, Block 2, Parkside Subdivision. Sub-division. The improvements proposed to be made consist of plain concrete con-crete curb and gutter, plain concrete sidewalk 4 feet wide and 4 inches more or less thick, and plain concrete combination com-bination sidewalk and gutter 6 feet wide. Such improvements improve-ments are to be made and completed in proper and workmanlike work-manlike manner in accordance with plans, profiles and specifications speci-fications on file in the office of the City Engineer, and will be constructed on the following follow-ing streets: PLAIN CONCRETE CURB " AND GUTTER ONLY: South side of 400 South Street from Weight Avenue (900 East Street) East 1,167 feet. Both sides of Main Street from 100 North Street North to 500 North. South side of 400 North Street East to 200 East Street. Both sides of 200 East Street from 300 North Street to 400 North Street. Both sides of 300 North Street from 100 West Street to 200 West Street. East side of 100 East Street from 200 South Street to 400 South Street. West side of 100 East Street 'from 200 South to 300 South Street. East side of 100 East1 Street from 700 South Street PLAIN CONCRETE COMBINATION SIDEWALK AND GUTTER ONLY South side of Aaron Avenue from the West line of lot at 660 East Aaron Avenue West 59 feet. The estimated cost of such improvements within said district dis-trict is $52,762.00. The estimated esti-mated cost to the individual abutter for plain concrete curb and gutter is $2.50 per linear foot, for plain concrete sidewalk side-walk is $1.60 per linear foot, and for plain concrete combination combin-ation sidewalk and gutter is $3.00 per linear foot. In addition addi-tion to the above assessment, driveways will be constructed and assessed against the property pro-perty benefited, the estimated cost of single driveways being $50.00 each. To defray the abutters portion por-tion of the cost and expense of such improvements, special taxes shall be levied : upon the lots and parcels of ground to be affected or benefited by such improvements, the same to be assessed according to the front or linear foot frontage upon and against all lots, pieces or parcels of land affected af-fected or benefited by such improvements and abutting on said streets above described, to the entire depth back from the street line or 165 feet, whichever distance is the lesser, les-ser, with corner lot exemptions for curb and gutter of one-half one-half the distance of the shortest short-est side to be apportioned as provided by ordinance. The special taxes levied to defray the abutters portion of the cost and expenses of such improvements shall be paid in ten (10) equal annual installments install-ments with interest at the rate of five percent (5) per annum an-num on the unpaid balance; or the whole amount of the tax may be paid without interest within 15 days after notification notifica-tion by the City Treasurer of the amount due. All protests or objections to such improvements, or to the carrying out of such intention, must be in writing, signed by the owners of the property to be affected or benefited, describing des-cribing such property together with the number of front feet, and must be filed with the City Recorder on or before the 16th day of July, 1960. The City Council at its first regular meeting thereafter, to-wit: to-wit: the 18th day of July, 1960, will consider the proposed levy and hear and consider such protests and objections to said improvements as shall have been made.
