Show LDS meeting times changed for Christmas Day Utah State Press P,0, Box 1327 Salt Meetings times in most wards within the Nephi LDS Stake will be changed on Sunday Christmas Day according to information from the ward bishops. The only meeting to be held in the Nephi First Ward will be sacrament meeting at 9:30 a.m. In the Nephi Second Ward, Priesthood meeting will begin at 10 a.m. followed by sacrament meeting at 11:30 a.m. Combined meetings will be conducted in the Nephi Third and Sixth wards. At 9:45 a.m., the Sunday Schools of the Third Ward will be in charge of a special combined Sunday School. At 11 a.m., the wards will combine for a sacrament meeting, under the direction of Nephi Sixth Ward officials. Special Christmas programs will be presented in both meetings. Gadd Funeral services will be held today (Thursday) at 1 p.m. at the NeLDS Ward chapel phi Fourth-Fiftfor Ethel Carter Gadd, 90. Mrs. Gadd died at the Juab County Hospital on h V December 17. Friends may call at the ward chapel one hour prior to services. Mrs. Gadd was bom April 14, 1887 at Nephi, a daughter of Thomas Goble and Martha Crawforth Carter. She married Albert Victor Gadd on December 23, 1908 in Nephi. The marriage was later solemnized at the Manti LDS Temple. Gadd died in 1963. Sarah Ellen Molyneaux Friday open house will honor Mrs. Sarah Molyneaux Sarah Ellen Molyneaux will be the honored guest at an open house on Friday, December 23 at her home in Mona. The occasion is her 95th wedding anniversary. The open house will be from 2 til 8 p.m. The family has requested that no gifts be brought. Mrs. Molyneaux was born in Ft. v, x JO Aw Green on December 23, 1882. Norma Molyneaux of Salt Lake City is her only living child of a family of four. Expected for the open house are most of Mrs. Molyneauxs 20 grandchildren and two greatgrandchildren. Garbage pickup dates changed Nephi City officials have announced that there will be no collection of garbage on Monday, December 26, or Monday, January 2. The areas normally coered on these holidays will be covered on the following Wednesdays, December 28 and January 4. canvassers on the returns of the special bond election held on December 13. Mrs. Gadd was a retired social worker, having begun her career as a case worker in the Federal Emergency Relief Administration in 1934. She later worked for the Utah Department of Public Welfare for 23 years. She was an active club and civic leader. At the 75th anniversary observance of the Utah Federation of Womens Clubs, she received an award for outstanding leadership and service of over 25 years. In 1968, she was sponsored for club woman of the year honors by the Ladies Literary League. She was a director of the Nephi Red Cross for many years and was active in Democratic party affairs. She was a member of the Daughters of Utah Pioneers. Active in the LDS church, she served 19 years in ward Relief Society presidencies, six years in the Juab Stake Relief Society presidency, and in many other capacities. Survivors are four sons and a daughter: Donald F. Gadd, Nephi; Victor E. Gadd, John W. Gadd, and Mrs. Ralph (Marjorie) Frandsen, Salt Lake City; and James Harold (Hal) Gadd, Provo. Also surviving are 17 y at the hospital for several years is in need of replacement. Couples spend unexpected holiday in Water Hollow Two Nephi couples spent a unscheduled night in a cabin in Water Hollow after their truck became stuck in snow on Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. Doyle Coombs and Mr. and Mrs. Larry Bryan rode up Water Hollow late Saturday to view the winter scenery, but heavy snow mired down their truck. Rather than attempting to walk out in the dark, the couples gathered firewood and spent the night at a cabin in the area. Several members of the Sheriffs Posse were called Sunday morning to assist when family members reported the couples overdue.
