Johnson of the public ! schools, addressed the members of tho North Weber stake at the Weber normal nor-mal college, Sunday afternoon, upon the child welfare work which is being carried on in Ogden for the government govern-ment He said the government has asked the people to have tho babies weighed and measured and join in the ' campaign to save about 100,000 babies each year. He appealed to tho parents par-ents not to allow the war conditions to weaken thier interest in the child. Tho speaker told what the welfare committee had accomplished in Ogden Og-den and of the establishment of rooms in the Heywood building, at the corner of Twenty-fifth street and Washington avenue. oo |
