Show FOUNTAIN GREEN i I By Special Correspondence Marriage Announced Mr. and Mrs. J. L. Hansen announce an-nounce the marriage of their son, Jay to Miss Betty Christensen, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Dewey L. Christensen of Ephraim Wednesday, Wed-nesday, July 7th at the home of the bride's parents, with Bishop Evan C. Erickson officiating. Mr. and Mrs. Hansen will make their home for the present at Fountain Green. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Barker and son, Bobbie of Los Angeles, Calif., are visiting at the home of Mrs. Barker's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Niels Lund. Mrs. Nancy Lowe of Beaver is visiting relatives and friends in Fountain Green. Mr. and Mrs. N. E. Mikkelson had as their guest Sunday their sister, Mrs. Arthur Livingston and nephew, Mr. Bernell Livingston Livings-ton and children ofSpanish Fork, Mrs. June Fullmer and children of Payson, Mrs. Gomer Llewellyn and son of Fairview and Mrs. Van Livingston of Moroni. Mrs. Myrtle Oldroyd and Mrs. Merlene Collard were hotesses to the K. K. cIud members at a most delicious chicken dinner Thursday afternoon at Maple Canyon West of Moroni. Mv. and Mrs. Eugene Symes have returned home from Montana Mon-tana where Mr. Symes has been employed shearing sheep. A testimonial in honor of Elder Addin Johnson was given Sunday Sun-day evening in the ward chapel. Elder Johnson has recently returned re-turned from the North Central States mission. Mr. and Mrs. Herman Nielson and children of Provo are visiting at the home of tneir parents, Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Christensen. Second Lieutenant Leo Mowers who is now stationed at Boise, Idaho, is spending his furlough with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Mowers. Ross C. Livingston, member of the bombre group at an Army Air Base in California, has visited with relatives and friends the past ten days at Fountain Green. His brother, Corporal Max A. Livingston, who has been in the Armed Forces since February, 1941, reports he is none the worse mentally or physically from experiences ex-periences he has had throuh elements ele-ments and Army life. Max has been in foreign service since ' April, 1942. Mrs. Lena Livingston visited with her son and family at Moroni Mo-roni last week end. |
