Show Springville Community Church I l The sermon Sunday morning at I he worship sfrvice at 11:30 will be on "The Power of Little Things," (Jamos 3:1-12). The Sunday school service at 10:30 will consider, "The Christian Sabbath." (Matt. 12:1-8). Sunday school attendance has been fine the last fcV Sundays, let's keep it up. Young People's society will discuss dis-cuss the subject, "What Shall We Do On Sunday?" with Miss Ezda Prquhart as leader. Last Sunday artcrnoon the young folks piled into three cars and held a brief service' at the county infirmary which seemed to be much appreciated Prayer meeting next wet'it will have for its special speaker Rev James L. Hays, assistant pastor at M 1 aul's Episcopal church of Salt Lake. He will speak on some pre-Eastor pre-Eastor topic, which will be' the second sec-ond of r scries of three pre-Easter talks to be given at prayer meeting before Easter as a preparation therefor. The basketball teams are still going go-ing strong. Next Thursday the young folks of the church are invited in-vited to a party at Pavson. Last Innrsdnv evenjn(r Wilford LvoP and John McPherson represented the young folks at a meeting in Salt Lake. The Kensington club Is being entertained en-tertained at luncheon at the home-of home-of Mrs L. M. Gillian and Miss Elizabeth Gillian on Tuesday nt 1 p m. Mrs. Harbrich end Mrs D B Wdeh will assist as hostesses. The ladies of the church and their friends are Invited. Kindly notify Mrs. Gillilan by Monday noon if you can be' present. |
