Show Of Course They" Are Against Si! .(Editorial) The public is to be excused for its snicker- when it reads that public officials from all over the 'state have protested most strenuously against the passage by the present state legislature of the Fry bill calling for monthly publication of expenditures of city, school and county expending bodies. Having vividly in mind the plunders of the treasuries of Salt L-ka City, Salt Lake county and the state of Utah, the public, in fact, should be excused if it laughs out loud, when reading of the officials' protest against publicity. There is nothing an official with a guilty conscience fears more than publicity.
