Show Frosh Tea is Set for Sunday Finale to first week activity at Utah State Agricultural college will be a tea in honor of all freshmen women students scheduled for Sunday from 3 to 5 p. m. in the commons building. The event is being sponsored bv the Associated Women Students organization under direction of Clixie McAlister, Preston, Idaho, A W S president. Dorothy Cottle,' i-ogan, is chairman of arrangements. arrange-ments. Hostesses at the event will be women members of Alpha Sigma Nu, honorary senior society. They are, Jeanne Forsgren, Brigham City, Katherine Jenkins, Sugar City, Ida.; Dorothy Tanner, Whitney, Whit-ney, Ida.; Marjorie Hyer, Lewis-ton; Lewis-ton; Adelle Young and Marian Carlisle, Logan, Charlene Petter-son, Petter-son, Garland and Miss McAlister. In the receiving line will be Mrs. lone Bennion, new dean of women; Mrs. Franklin S. Harris, wife of the college president; Miss McAlister and Miss Cottle. Members Mem-bers of Phi Upsilon Omicron, honorary home economics fraternity, frater-nity, and other upperclass women students, will serve. I During the tea hours, musical numbers will be played by Reva Anderson, Bear River city; Mary Jean Sorenson and Norma Olson, Logan; Shirley Dean, Ephraim; Beth 'Powell, Coalville, and Miss ! Tanner. Members of the committee in charge of arrangements are Jean Richards, Logan, music; Clarene Guymon, Logan, decorations; Ina Shephard, Logan, refreshments, and Miss Carlisle, publicity. |
