Show Harris Tells USAC Students to Develop Lifelong Friendships Utiih State Agricultural college was founded as a friendship institution, in-stitution, Dr. Franklin S. Harris, president, told the new student body Tuesday in a get-acquainted assembly, as he advised them to establish many friendships which, will prove to them among the most precious things of life. Other features of the assembly included the introduction to students stud-ents of the deans of the seven schools and the graduate division, and other administrative officers. Musical numbers included tvo vocal solos by Georgene Doutre, of Logan, accompanied by Glona Hanson, of Logan, and a violin solo by Norma Olson, of Logan. Professor W. H. Manning led the group in community singing. Professor Ira N. Hayward offered of-fered the invocational. |
