Show Veteran Loan Guarantee Unit A Loan guarantee division, of the Veterans administration has been established at 222 Boston building in Salt Lake City, for the purpose of processing to com-I com-I pletion applications for loans to veterans of World War II, as provided for in Title III of the Servicemen's Readjustment Act of 1 1944. This division is under the ! direction of E. A. Littlefield, manager, man-ager, Veterans Facility, 12th Ave., land E. Street, Salt Lake City 3, ! Clayton I. Thatcher, Loan Guar-i Guar-i antee officer, who was assigned by j the Washington office as a special j representative to supervise the J establishment and operation of I the Denver, Colorado Loan Guarantee Guar-antee division which formerly ! served the state of Colorado, Kans- as, New Mexico, Utah and Wyo-i Wyo-i ming, is in charge of the new , division in Salt Lake City. ! This office, recently opened and now operating in full force, will i serve the state of Utah. It is open I to the veterans at all times for j consultation and advice and for , any aid possible relative to the guarantee of loans for homes, i farms, and business. Up to the I present time eighty per cent : (eight of every ten) of all loan ! applications have been approved. ' Now that all concerned have become be-come more familiar vith regulations regu-lations and procedures relative to ' the G. I. loans and with the office of-fice established in Salt Lake City, i a better service can be rendered J to the veteran, a higher percentage percent-age should receive favorable action, ac-tion, and the processing time greatly reduced. |
