Show THREE WERE INJURED. Elevator Drops Six Floors, In the Land Title Building of Philadelphia. Philadelphia. District Attorney John C. Boll, assistant City Solicitor Horry T. Kingston nnd William Born of Colllngswood, N. J., wero seriously Injured Monday by n fall of an elevator ele-vator In tho Land Title building, tho highest building In tho city. Mr. Bell sustained a compound fracture frac-ture of a leg, Mr. Kingston suffered both legs fractured and Mr. Born was Injured nbout tho body and received lacerations of tho scalp. District Attorney Bell and Assistant Solicitor Kingston hnd been in confcrcnco confcr-cnco in Mr. Dell's privato offlco on tho thirteenth floor of tho building, and wero on their way to their ofllces In tho city hall. Tho elevator operator, tho only other occupant of tho car, escaped with slight Injuries. Tho elevator dropped from tho sixth floor to tho basement. Tho causo of tho accident is unknown. |
