Heutcr sprang from his bed and seized a shotgun. Mrs. Heutcr, realizing real-izing that her situation was desperato, drow from beneath her husband's pillow pil-low a rovolvcr which was always kept thoro, and before bo could raise tho weapon, fired at him. It Is supposed that death ensued almost Immediately after tho shot was fired, as tho bullet entered tho back of tho neck and pen-ot pen-ot rated tho brain. Mrs. Heutcr, who Is 30 years of age, was Toutcr's third wife. Heutcr was 70years old. |
