Brlndlcy, in command of tho militia, Sheriff Chandler nnd others oth-ers had appealed to tho mob, they dispersed. Tho negroes nro Vanco Gardner, William Johnson, Ed Johnson, Bud Blcharason, Jefferson Alford and Fannie Fan-nie Mayo. Tholr alleged victim, Mrs. Smith, was a widow. Tho crlrao was committed Saturday night. Early Sunday Vanco Gardner reported discovering dis-covering tho womnn's dead body.
