Finalists ready for grand prize drawing BOUNTIFUL - The finalists are now set for the grand prize contest in the Clipper's Pick the Winner" football contest. Eight weekly winners and seven people who also picked 15 winners on a weekly entry form will vie for the all expense-paid trip to the Sea World Holiday Bowl in San Diego Dec. 30. Greg Lindley of .Bountiful became the fifteenth finalist as winner of week eight of the contest. His missed only California's upset of Washington State and then was closest to the Utah StateSan Jose State score and will receive the weekly gift certificate prize as well as compete for the grand prize. Each of the finalists will now receive a special list of games to predict the winners and the big winner will be chosen from among these contestants. The finalist that will compete tor the trip to San Diego are: R. Gregg Farmer, Wilson Duke, LaMar Williams, Brent Checketts, Paul Kilpatrick, Adrian Groos Jr., Kaylene Lindley, Walter L. Baker, Brent Stock, Carol Sneider, Mark Johnson, Mike Wernli, Mary Jane Neville and Greg Lindley Williams will receive two final contest entry blanks as both a weekly winner and one of the seven perfect entries from a separate week. The grand prize winner will be announced in the Clipper on Nov. 22.
