Jail project speeds ahead: funds moved By CHERIE HUBER FARMINGTdN--Another million has been moved to the jail fund,, bringing the total to $17 million. LaMar Holt told the commis- sioners that $16 million of the total jail project was appropriated last year. The jail is now at the $16 million figure, and he requested a transfer of funds to increase the jail construction fund from $16 to $17 million. HoU said that there was no need for a public hearing because mis money is outside of the , general ; fund. Less than $2 million was spent last year on the jail.
