Oh. I thought you said look in tb vt Ars for a Tepee!" EXIT NOISY OUT-BOARD BOATING ;x.::-:.x-- . With sunny skies and warm weather just around the corner, boat fanciers everywhere are busy putting their equipment in ship-shape for summer fun. v For those whose crafts are run by outboard motors there is no more excuse for noisy vibrations and rough riding. A transom pad is the answer. These vastly im-proved cushions will reduce out-board vibration and noise up to. 80 by insulating the engine from both sides of the transom with a plump, double shock ab-sorber of durable neophrene. ' Besides their regular line of transom pads for all engines a completely new type of transom pad especially designed to accom-modate all large engines of 25 HP and over is being intro--. duced this year. The only one of this kind on the market, it Is called "Little Giant" by No-Vib- e, and is longer and. heavier than the conventional transom pad and has an extra deep tail flap to fit heavy outboard motors. Still another important feature is that gasoline, oil, water or sun will not deteriorate or affect the resiliency of this improved rubber product. And thanks to a mould-ed cut-ou- t, it fits all boats with or without a transom knee. Nor do you have to be a master me-chanic to attach these pads . . . a few turns of the screw driver does the trick! Manufactured by the Marine Division of Worthington Products the pads range from three to five dollars and are available at sport-ing goods counters everywhere. |
