Motorists holding suppmental I B and C cards may find them- ; selves without ration gasoline unless un-less they pay closer attention to share a ride plan, Mrs. R. L. If A and B car drivers expect to secure supplemental gasoline rations, the' must prove to the i board that they have joined a car pool, or that they have exceptional ex-ceptional reasons for not being able to join a pool. The National Safety Council estimates that 7,000 cars a day are landing on the junk heap. Car sharing is the only answer. When five men pool their rides, through! car sharing, shar-ing, four of the cars can be left at home and the life of each car extended five-fold. Besides four tankful of gasoline and 16 tires are conserved. |
