Show UTAH STATE PAIR BOOKS MANY ACTS A score of thrilling acts have i been secured for the entertainment entertain-ment of guests at the forthcoming forthcom-ing Utah State Fair, September 3 to to 9. This is the assurance of Sheldon Brewster, secretary, manager, who has just announced announc-ed the booking of Siegfried the great, sensational skier, to round out the program of fast moving events for the daily grandstand revue. Siegfried who does daredevil ride down a one-foot wide wooden wood-en runway that is 55 feet high at the start. He clears a gap) 30 feet wide in the course of his dizzy 150 foot descent. At the evening show he dives through flaming pyrotechnics. A novel runway, covered with a special kind of grease, makes this skiing event possible Another event that will receive the wide acclaim of all who visited visit-ed the fair last year will be a return engagement with Marian Rankin and her "lovelies." This is a group of beautiful Hollywood girls, t popular from Broadway to the Pacific Coast, who present about a dozen dance and song numbers some of sheer grace and beauty, others on the eccen-ric eccen-ric side. ' Then there is Jumbo the elephant, ele-phant, famed on stage and screen. Trouped with the great pachyderm pachy-derm are a camel, a pony and two dogs.
