The 1988 Utah Countv tion Swim League Championships were held at Lehi, Utah on Friday and Saturday, July 29 and 30. y event more During the than 600 swimmers competed in freestyle, backstroke, butterfly, breaststroke, and individual medley. Teams also competed in the medley relay and free relay. Teams participating were Lehi, American Fork, Pleasant Grove, Orem West, Orera East, Provo) Springville, Spanish Fork, and Payson. Lehi took third place for the second year in a row, losing to Springville and Pleasant Grove by a narrow margin. The Lehi Flyers are coached by Kathy Sunderland, James Hyde and Sherile Sorenson. High Point honors went to Jackie and Jamie Hadfield. Three other swimmers missed high point in their age category by one point, Mark Neth, Season Chamberlain and Marlise Taggart.
