Carter heads Alpine food services Mrs. Hn Carter hu been named the Director of Food Services for the Alpine School District In this position, the will direct the school lunch program for the district's 44 schools which serve hot lunch to approximately 24,000 youngsters on s daily basis. Mrs. Carter has been with the Alpine District since 1978 when she started as a food service cook at Pleaaant Grove High School She became a school lunch manager at Pleasant Grove Junior High in 1980 where she remained for six years. For the past two years, she has been a food service coordinator with the district's central office. Here, she has supervised the work of food service managers and workers in 22 district schools. This experience has included the training of new managers, the planning and preparing of menus, the reviewingof school programs to insure that federal guidelines are maintained, and budgetary sponsibilities.
