McDon-ald. -PCHS- Kim Hollings, an ex-View-mont High School student, is attending PCHS. Kim is a junior here. He says he doesn't like PCHS because it is too small. He says he doesn't like skiing except every now and then; but he likes to snowmobile! He also likes the dress code and some of the teachers, but not all of them. (Editor's Note-Not Note-Not all the teachers like Kim.) Kim lives with his family at Kimball's Junction.-Reporter, Mike McDonald. -PCHS-Put $10,000 on IBM! Sell all your 20th Century Fox! Buy all the AT&T you can! These are the cries heard from students stu-dents in Dr. Simmon's fourth and eighth period Political Science classes and in Miss Burgner's first period Bookkeeping Book-keeping class. The students were given $10,000 to invest any way they please, whether it be the stock market, bonds, mutual fund, or the bank. They are to keep track of the stocks and try to make as much money as possible by the end of the year. This serves two purposes-first: purposes-first: To learn the process of the stock market and second; To give an "A" grade to the person who can liquidate for the most money at the end of the year. Reporter, John Lehmer. A 100-yard run by Mike Watts was the first touchdown for PCHS in a game with Provo's Jr. Varsity at Provo last Saturday. Sat-urday. The extra point failed. The Miner's score was made after Provo had scored a touchdown touch-down and an extra point in the first minute of the game. Then in the second quarter. Park City pushed the Bulldogs back to make a two point safety. Right after the halftime PCHS scored their second touchdown as Rich Sorenson carried the ball around left end for 20 yards. The Bulldogs scored seven points in the third quarter to make the game a 14 to 14 tie. Coach Carlson said, 'The only way Provo could move the ball was in the air. They could not move the ball effectively on " the ground against our defense." Carey Dorka. -PCHS-" Psycho linguistic" is the name of a speech, hearing and reading program now being used in Park City schools. Bruce Bowers from the N.U. Service Center in Heber is conducting these tests which involves both the High School and Marsac. This program will help students that have difficulties in speech and hearing. ReNae Street. -PCHS-At long last, the first issue of the Prospector is coming out. Robin Johnson is the praiseworthy praise-worthy editor this year.
