Show Mrs. Agnes Baxter Sees Many Changes "Well, it certainly has changed!' chang-ed!' That was the comment made by Mrs. Agnes Baxter visiting in Park City from her home in San Francisco. Agnes was born here in Park City she was Agnes Johnson, daughter of John and Anna Johnson. Her father had come to Park City from his native Finland and worked in the mines. Agnes left Park City in 1929 but has been back twice since then and she said the house where she used to live is "just barely standing a good strong wind surely would blow it over! You know, she said, "about the only thing in Park City that has NOT changed is the Library-it looks exactly as it did when I lived here!" Agnes is now Mail Room supervisor at St. Francis Hospital Hos-pital in San Francisco, a job she has held for 27 years. |
