Show Change Tune 4 DOWNTOWN STORES 'LIFT' SUGAR DAYS Faced with the threat of legal reprisals, four downtown Salt Lake stores this week changed their advertising ) tunes. Two days before the opening of the regular Sugar Days in Sugar House, the four concerns con-cerns "lifted" the label and some of the catchy phrases used to boom the Sugar House sales enterprises. But when these stores were . ' shown in black and white that Sugar Days is a registered title, owned by the Sugar House chamber of commerce, they pulled in their horns and changed their advertising technique but still played on the word "Sugar." The downtown firms suspected sus-pected of plagorizing were Ax-elrad's, Ax-elrad's, Western Furniture, Standard Furniture and Din-woodey"s. |
