WILL HOLD ANNUAL AT SALINA MAY 2 prominent scout executive is E expected to attend gathering the annual jamboree of the fish lake district bryce canyon council boy scouts of america will be held friday night and saturday 1 may 1 and 2 at salina oscar A kirkham of salt lake city well known regional scout executive and G W barton of ephraim head of the bryce canyon council are expected to attend the jamboree and assist in the activities if present plans materialize the scouts will pitch their tents in the salina park and enjoy camp fire programs as well as the more formal study of scout work vork demonstrations will be given and contests conducted in various phases of scouting including camping mar marching handicraft signaling first aid tent pitching starting fires by friction or by flint and steel t rope spinning knot amot teeing cooking and the message relay rela y race scoutmasters Scout masters are making a check of their troops this week in an effort to have as many scouts as possible participate in this annual may jamboree and are looking forward to the parents cooperating as far as possible in preparing the boys to participate in the jamboree events english than we do I 1 cant get you all the way down now but I 1 will get you to the canal the next letter its quite a gully
