HOSIERY DRIVE I IS SUCCESSFUL The drive for worn out silk and nylon hose, conducted in this city the past few days, has been successful, suc-cessful, according to officers in charge of the project. A total of approximately 1500 pairs of hose were deposited at the two picture show houses Saturday Sat-urday afternoon and evening when five pairs were received as admission admis-sion to either of the shows. Other business concerns have also aided with the collection of hosiery, which is badly needed at this time in construction of vital war material, ma-terial, according to Mrs. Hannah M. Clyde and Emil Ostlund, local chairmen. These officers wish to take this opportunity to thank the people of Springville who so generously contributed to the drive.
