Show Important Decision. Y'eeterday morning Chief Justice ScbaefTer decided the suit of J. W. Kerr, ct al.t vs. Wm. H. Folsom et al., which was argued before him last week. The suit was for the lot on which the old California corral stands, the heirs of the former owner, Lania-reaux, Lania-reaux, suing for the property of their parents. The judge awarded the property, with the exception of the Snyder piece, to the plaintifls. The court held that as Snyder occupied the premises during the life time of Lamareaux, the occupation was doubtless lawful and with L's consent, con-sent, and therefore he held that the Snyder heirs were the rightful owners. own-ers. The case will now go to the territorial snpreme court. |
