Show The WlHconaiu Outlaws. St. Louis, 12. The confession of Hobbg Kerry, the Otterville train robber, will ha published to-morrow. It iu quite a lengthy document, but the essential facts are that Prank and Je-sse James, Cole and Budd Younger, Clem Miller, CUailes P.lta and Win. Choi well constituted the gang. It appears that the train was not robbed in accordance with & previously concocted con-cocted plan, but the parly had been riding over a larg exteut of country withput finding anything to do, and finally concliuU-d to attack the train, acting more from impulse than anything any-thing elso. Ki'rry was not a regular member, but had been with them during the raid through the country. He was present at the robbery ot tko train and shared tho spoils. The police po-lice authoriticH had information in June last that Younger, James and other members of the bind contemplated contem-plated robbing the train atQreeubay, southwest Missouri, and officers were sent thero fur the project. The officers returned as soon as the rcb-biug rcb-biug of the train occurred. The parties par-ties mcutioned above have beon indicted in-dicted by the grand jury of Cooper county, but whether any vigorous means will be taken to arreit them is not known. The confession gives a description ol tho robbery of the traiu, which is essentially the same as heretofore published; also the movements of the robbers for soma time previous to the attack, and their course to tbe point where the booty was divided. It is a circumstantial account of all their proceedings. |
