Show Open House - t i Rosa Black Honored On Eightieth Birthday Zambos, LeMaster Wed In Greek Orthodox Church John G. Zambos and Sandra Jean The family of Rosa Vida Black will honor her on Sept. 18th with an open house on the occasion of her 80th birthday. The event will be held at the home of a son, Francis, 8892 South Quail Run Drive (2340 East) and guests are being asked to enter from the south or west. The celebration will run from 4 to 7 p m. and the family request no gifts. Born in Lovell, Wyoming, the daughter of Robert J. and Rosa Ann Bischoff, Vida attended school in Lovell and also attended the University of Wyoming in Laramie. She was married on June 4, 1925 to Clinton M. Black and their early married life was spent in the big Horn Basin, where seven of their eight children were born. After participating in the war effort in California, the Blacks moved to Utah in 1945, settling in the Granger area where Vida served as a counselor in the Granger stake Relief Society. She has continued active in the LDS church in both the Granger and Kearns area where she now resides. Her greatest joys have included music and writing. She has written several scripts for musical productions and is the author of six books, including Under Granger Skies, Proud of Kearns and her most reHeritage. Vida was second alternate Utah Mother of the Year in 1969. There are 33 grandchildren and 24 A wedding breakfast was held at the Lion House and later that same evening a reception was given at Granger Central stake center. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Don U, Bennion of West Valley. She is a graduate of Granger high and is presently attending Utah Technical College. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Lloyd Mills and is a graduate of Murray high. He is presently attending Utah Technical College in computer repair and filled an LDS mission to Manilla in the Philippine Islands. Doneen Simpson was matron of honor with Cherly Neeley and Collette, Coye and Mindy Mills and Patti and Pam Bennion attending. Sarah and Elizabeth Mills were flower girls while Sonya Curtis attended the guest book. Best man duties were performed by Scott Mills with David Bennion, John Dutt and John Johnson as ushers. The newlyweds honeymooned at 1975-7- Double-Rin- at Four A reception followed Seasons West. The bride is the daughter of William LeMaster of Sandy and Barbara LeMaster of West Valley. She is a graduate of Kearns high. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. George Zambos of Magna. He is a graduate of Cyprus high and is a past master of Christopher Diehl Lodge in Magna. Terre LeMaster was matron of honor with Elaine and Christy Zamn bos, June LeMaster and Tammi as bridesmaids. Ringbearer was Jason Zambos and crown bearer George N. Floor II with Crystal LeMaster as flower girl. Brenda Thurman attended the guest book. Jim Mylonakis was best man with Alan and Craig LeMaster and J. L. Moore, Angelo Zambos, Phil Hibler . and Howard Mikolash as ushers. Romero and Gayle Ann Hill chose August 27th to exchange marriage vows in a double-ring golden wedding ceremony at the home of the brides parents. A reception followed. A rehearsal dinner was held at the home of the grooms parents. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. Rex Hill, is a graduate of Kearns high and Hollywood beauty college. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Victor Romero and is a graduate of Kearns high. He graduated from Utah State University with two bachelor degrees in art and sociology and will attend the graduate school of social work at the University of Utah this fall. The newlyweds honeymooned in Mazatlan, Mexico and will make their home in Salt Lake. Lori Kay Parvu Lori Kay Parvu Members and guests of the Federal Womens club will hold their Sept, luncheon at Andys Smorgasbord, 3350 Highland Drive on September 17, at 12:30 p.m. Mrs. Charlotte Roundy will be hostess for this luncheon.
